WEIZENKORN

The protected workshops of WEIZENKORN (means: wheat grain) are on a social basis. We offer employment to 100 mostly young poeple that in the protection of therapeutic workshops learn to overcome difficulties and manage to get back into an open, unprotected working place. The Toys of WEIZENKORN are of high quality and their design child-like. As a result of original ideas and consequent development, a variety of articles have been created. The toys are made in our own workshops in Basel (Switzerland) and we only use local wood like beech, lime, maple or birch. Each product is a hand-painted and varnished original. We only use non-toxic, saliva resistant colors. We make a point of perfect manufacturing and good, high quality products, that correspond the European norms.
